SILAN DATE "HONEY" SYRUP-
Silan Date Syrup, 60% dates. This sweet elixir contains syrup from fresh dates and sugar, in a recipe that may be used to sweeten beverages, poultry, charoset, or as a syrup on pancakes or ice cream. Makes a great marinade for meat. Date Honey is made from pressed dates and is not a bee product. Tradition holds that this is what the Bible refers to when it calls Israel "A land of milk and honey."
