PRESS RELEASE

SUBJECT: Store Selling Made-In-Israel Products to benefit Israel's economy

RELEASE: IMMEDIATE

Internet store sells only 100% Israeli products; Profits benefit Israeli based charities.

Baltimore, Maryland- IsraeliProducts.com is a unique online store, carrying thousands of products from Israel's favorite export brands. The store’s main goal to help struggling Israeli manufacturers and vendors who have been hurt by terrible economic conditions. With decreased tourism and greatly increased costs of self defense during recurring wars, drastic cuts in governmental spending on social programs, and with misguided European boycotts against Israeli imports, Israel's economy is in crisis - and people are suffering.

Israeliproducts.com promotes the use of MADE-IN-ISRAEL and MADE-IN-USA products whenever possible. Israeli Products.com will attempt to make the former more widely available, enabling concerned American supporters of Israel to easily purchase a wide range of products via the Internet. In addition to the usual Israeli gift exports, Israeliproducts.com carries clothing, food items, books, music, housewares, Dead Sea skin care and spa products and many other items that are useful every day. They also import and wholesale Israeli honey products.

IsraeliProducts.com warehouses most of its inventory locally, allowing for fast, low cost shipping and convenient toll-free ordering (877-BUY-ISRAELI.) It will only offer products manufactured in Israel, with the hope that with increased sales, many good people will be able to keep their jobs.

As long as Israel remains in a crisis situation, 100% of the store’s net profits will go to Israeli-based charities. Once the situation improves (may that be very soon) at least 20% of our profits will continue to be donated to Israeli-based charities. Among those who will benefit: Magen David Adom (Israel’s “Red Cross” equivalent,) Zaka Rescue & Recovery (disaster response teams,) Yad Eliezer (food donations to Jerusalem’s needy,) Hatzalah (volunteer emergency medical services,) hospitals all over Israel, several orphanages, groups assisting victims of terror, many food banks and soup kitchens all over Israel, suppliers of grocery coupons to the truly needy, and free loan associations.

“Israeli companies and Israeli workers need help now,” says Ms. Katz, store owner. “Many people want to help Israel but don’t know how. The U.S. economy has been hard hit too - and most people can’t buy exotic items, or even donate as much to charity as they might want to. Synagogues, campus organizations and community centers occassionaly bring “Jerusalem Fairs” to some of the larger cities, and there are many new Israeli stores on the internet. But since shipping from Israel can be prohibitively expensive, and since the fairs only attract a limited group of shoppers and benefit only a handful of vendors, a wider, longer-term initiative is required - and that’s where we come in. Israel manufactures many high quality goods for export. There are large companies with great products who have laid off workers. And, there are so many artisans with small businesses who cannot put bread on the table. Our goal is to try to help increase the availability and visibility of Israeli products for everyone, everywhere... to offer affordable, useful products to American consumers... to show support and unity with our proven friends and, most of all, to help Israeli workers keep their jobs and feed their families.”
